SMART INDIA HACKATHON 2025

The Internal SMART INDIA HACKATHON was conducted on 15.09.2025 at MRTC_ Auditorium, Malla Reddy Technical Campus( A Constituent Unit of Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth, Deemed to be University, Hyderabad) for students to guide them to convert their innovative thoughts into start-up. It is an initiative which provides platform for students to express their own thoughts and convert them into a working model both software and Hardware. Students developed new and disruptive digital technology innovations for solving challenges faced by our country. Students were also given problem statements for which they have to develop innovative solutions.

A total of 169 Teams Presented their ideas from the Departments of Computer Science, Computer Science(DS), Computer Science(AIML), CS(AI), CS(AI&DS), CS (IoT, Cyber Security including Blockchain Technology), CS (Cyber Security)& Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering.,Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI). A ranking was given for the presentations made and The judges interrogated, probed, and scrutinized the competing teams, out of 169 teams top 50 teams has been selected. In that 45 teams were shortlisted and 5 teams were waitlisted. The top 50 teams who will get the opportunity to participate in the 8th edition of SIH- 2025, which will be organized by the Ministry of Education, AICTE.

It was an innovative proving ground for new ideas where students can prove their talent at a national level. It was a good tool to simulate the creative and problem-solving abilities of students. Students came up with their own ideas to automate and solve the challenges we are facing in our everyday life and demonstrated their ideas. This hackathon also enhanced career skills of students. They also had hands on experience and had a productive atmosphere that forced them to distil their visionary concepts down to actionable solutions.

It also helped students to build skills such as team work, effective communication, decision-making, problem solving and influencing skills. The students has showcase their Innovative solutions of different problem statements. This Internal hackathon encourage the students to explore their Innovative ideas and also provide the platform to students to solve many real time problems we face in our daily lives and thus inculcate of product innovation and a mind-set of problem-solving.
