A Session on “Women Empowerment”

A Session titled ‘Women Empowerment’ was conducted at Malla Reddy Technical Campus (MRTC), A constituent unit of Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), on February 14, 2026 at 02.00 P.M. The session aimed to create awareness about the importance of empowering women in education, leadership, entrepreneurship, and society. The speaker shared valuable insights on gender equality, self-confidence, financial independence, and leadership development. The event was highly inspiring and informative for all participants.

Objectives of the Session

• To create awareness about the importance of women empowerment in society.
• To encourage female students to pursue leadership and entrepreneurial roles.
• To promote gender equality and equal opportunities in education and

• To inspire confidence, self-reliance, and decision-making skills among women.

Details of the Speakers

• Mr.Balachandra

Mr. Balchandra is a dedicated social activist known for his selfless service to society. He has devoted his life to helping underprivileged and poor communities by providing essential support such as food, education assistance and basic necessities.

He strongly believes that education is the foundation of empowerment, especially for women. Through his continuous efforts, he has supported and encouraged many girls to pursue their education and build independent futures. His work has created awareness about the importance of equal opportunities and women’s rights in society.

Because of his outstanding contributions and humanitarian service, Mr. Balchandra has received several awards and recognitions. His commitment, compassion, and determination make him an inspiring personality and a true role model for the younger generation.

The event witnessed 600 female students active participation from undergraduate and postgraduate students. Students interacted with the speaker during the Q&A session and asked questions related to career growth, entrepreneurship opportunities, and overcoming challenges faced by women in society. The session was highly interactive and motivating.
