GANESH CHATHURTHI – 2025

 The GANESH CHATHURTHI – 2025 celebration event organized by Malla Reddy Technical Campus (Deemed to be University) on 26th August 2025 at 02.00 P.M. 

The celebration event consists of Rangoli competition, Ganesh Idol making and Painting competition. 

The event was inaugurated by Dr. Kanaga Durga Returi, Dean, Malla Reddy Technical campus (Deemed to be University). HOD’s, Faculty members and Students were the event coordinators. The participants were awarded with the certificate by the Jury members.

  • Rangoli Competition: 

          To celebrate and promote the rich Indian heritage and tradition of Rangoli, preserving and passing down cultural practices.

  • Make students with a creative outlet to express themselves through  

    intricate designs and vibrant colors, encouraging artistic expression.

  • It Promote teamwork and collaboration among participants, as many  

                   worked in groups, highlighting the importance of cooperation in artistry.

It is anticipated that future editions of the Rangoli Competition will continue to celebrate the artistic diversity and cultural appreciation

  • Eco-Friendly Ganesha Idol Making Competition

         The objective of the event is which often include promoting environmental consciousness, preserving cultural heritage, and fostering creativity. 

The participants were provided with the resources such as clay, dough, colors, traditional tools, or organic materials for eco-friendly themes.

Judging Criteria: The idols were evaluated, focusing on aspects like creativity, originality, use of materials, adherence to traditional themes and craftsmanship.

The event started at 2.30pm for designing and creating the idol where the

students exhibited their artistic skills by using clay dough, various pulses, flour and many jewelry items in their artwork.

  • Painting Competition 

         The students showed more interest in the painting on various topics. Time duration for the competition was 2 hours. The students were able to exhibit their excellence through the painting. The best three paintings were awarded with the certificate by the Jury members. The students from all the branches were participated in the competition.

This competition kept the students engaged. It was organized to explore and encourage creativity in students and offer them a platform to showcase their skills. 

 The event was a great success and its contribution to fostering creativity and cultural awareness.
