Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day)
The Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day)” – 2025 event organized by Malla Reddy Technical Campus (Deemed to be University) on 31st October 2025 at 02.00 P.M. to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, popularly known as the Iron Man of India.
The event consists of awareness Session and Pledge. The special assembly was conducted to re-affirm the inherent strength and resilience of our nation. The Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge was taken by the students and the faculty members to withstand the greatest threat to the unity, integrity and security of our nation.
The event was presided over by Dr. M. Ajay Kumar, HOD/ECE, Malla Reddy Technical campus (Deemed to be University).
The celebration commenced by invoking God’s blessings. Sardar Vallababhai Patel, an icon for National Unity was fondly remembered. His vision for the Nation was articulated by the students taking a pledge striving towards “Ektha”. The session follows with the administration of the pledge by the speaker, and was taken by all participants, including students and staff, to reaffirm their commitment to the nation’s unity and security.
A Speech was delivered by the speaker and institute officials, highlighting the significance of the day and the contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in uniting India. Talks also focused on the importance of unity and integrity in organizational setups and national development. The program concluded with the national anthem.
